Nikos "Malek" begun learning Folkloric Greek dances at the age of 9.
As a child and later as a teenager, he travelled through Europe with a greek folk dance troup and learned Ballroom and Latin dances.
By 2000 he had acquired the American and International Gold Degree of Dance and enchanted the public with his unique and supreme choreographies.
His unique way of dancing and his uncontrollable imagination was absorbed by the rhythms and dances of Middle East.
He attended seminars with famous schoolteachers as Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy, Tito, Ousama Emam, Aida Nour, Serkan, Maria Aya, 3rifily and many more.
Until today he continues studding the greatness of dances of M. East, giving performing in Greece and abroad.
In 2008 Nikos took part in Sultans of Raqs, a production featuring 6 of the most important male oriental dancers.
His performances include tanura, tacks (faqir), swïrd , shamadan (candles), tribal and oriental.
He teaches at Chania's "Chorodrama" School every Friday At Gouves Art Ballet every Saturday and the rest of the week at Nena's Academy in Heraclion where he is the artistic director for the oriental classes.
